My name is Rhona. I built a career in the helping profession having spent more than a decade guiding young adults as a school counselor and supervising the implementation of various student development programs.
I chose to become a stay-at-home mother (SAHM) to focus on taking care of the needs of my husband and 4 kids. But my love for personal development and training led me to co-found MOMENTO, a soft skills training company providing personality, leadership, and teambuilding activities to private and government agencies. The joy of homemaking, on the other hand, led me to start Casita Manila, a small online store retailing home and dinnerwares for your tablescaping needs.
But, the most important role I play and where much of my time is also spent involves managing our home, homeschooling our children and being involved in advocacies such as EduChild and Homestyle and Skills. These are organizations that promote functional, healthy, and cheerful family life. This endeavor pushed me to further refine my background in Behavioral Sciences to focus on Family Life Education.
